Specialties:
At Arizona Desert Doodles we have a customer first policy specializing in cavapoos, bernadoodles and sheepadoodles. We offer refundable deposits (until puppies are 2 weeks of age) as we understand people may change their mind as their life situation changes or they find another puppy they feel is more suitable for their family. We want what is best fo our buyers. We are completely transparent and give 24/7 access to a live puppy cam for those who have placed a deposit. We want our buyers to be able to see their fur baby at all times and begin bonding with their pup through the interactive camera. We are locally owned and operated by our own family members. We welcome visitors in our home during business hours for those who have put a deposit down and would like to bond and help socialize their puppy. All of our puppies are raised in our home, highly socialized with exposure to a variety of noises around a busy household. We work hard on potty training beginning at 4 weeks of age so they have a good start by the time they transition to their forever home. All parents are in our home unless we use a stud dog for a variety of breeding purposes. All puppies come with a one year health guarantee, they are up to date on their vaccinations, and dewormers, microchipped and come with a bringing home your new puppy package. We also gift our buyers with professional graduation photo’s of the pup’s litter. Puppies are photographed at 6-7 weeks of age. Buyers are provided a link to all pictures to download those they wish. All sales are final upon pick up of puppy. There are no refunds or returns once the buyer has taken possession of their puppy, with the exception of a health issue documented by a licensed vet, which falls under our sales agreement.
History:
Established in 2014
Arizona Desert Doodles’ mission is to bring community together through these wonderful furry friends. Amy Johnson began breeding when two of her five girls were diagnosed with cancer. The dogs became therapy, drawing people to her home, a welcomed distraction from all the chemo and radiation treatments. It’s been an amazing opportunity to bond her family together. Seven years later, the girls are all grown and remain involved with the breeding business.
Amy continues to enjoy inviting people into her home to help socialize the puppies and make new friends. It brings her much joy to stay in touch with her buyers and see the happiness their pups have brought to others.
Meet the business owner:
Amy has been working as a pediatric and NICU nurse for the past 30 years. When her own kids were struck with illness, Amy turned to breeding as a form of therapy for her family. As a lifelong animal lover, it became a perfect fit for the entire family. For the past seven years she has enjoyed raising and socializing puppies in her home. Even more so than the happiness the puppies have brought her family, the gratification of seeing the joy her puppies have brought to others has been rewarding and a blessing beyond measure. Amy is excited to continue to grow and expand her business while building new friendships.
